Infrared saunas heat you very gently and slowly, making it a very peaceful experience for most people. You may find that you do not sweat for the first 10-15 minutes, or not very much at all your first time. With increased usage you will likely notice an increased ability to sweat more productively. After sweating you will feel great. You may notice glowing skin, diminished wrinkles, muscle and injury relief as well as a sense of relaxation.
We suggest using both the infrared sauna and cryo pools during your visit to Thrive Sauna Studio. Based on your individual health and wellness goals, we recommend at least 3-4 times a week. To see the best weight loss results, we suggest you try the sauna immediately following your workout/fitness program.
Yes, in the infrared sauna, which will be regained upon rehydration. As you relax in the gentle heat of our infrared saunas, your body is actually working hard pumping blood (increased heart rate), increasing circulation and producing sweat to cool you down.
By increasing your heart rate and core body temperature by 3 degrees in your session, it could take up to an hour to return to normal after your sauna session. We recommend you staying active before or after your session if you want to maximize the most amount of calories burned. The Saltwater Cold Plunge Cryotherapy Pool increases energy, resilience and recovery. It also helps with your mental and overall health.
Most saunas are for a single individual and some are for two people. Bring a friend to join you or they can sauna in their own private sauna studio. Each sauna studio has a private shower.

Your private suite has room to store your belongings and come equipped with Vitamin C showers, including shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If you have a sauna session prior to your cold plunge, shower in between your sessions.
Yes, we provide all towels. We have water available for purchase as well as a water dispenser should you wish to fill your own water bottle.
We recommend wearing a towel (provided) or any loose fitting, comfortable clothing. You may want to bring a bathing suit for showering if doing a session with a friend. During your Cryo pool session, guests must wear a bathing suit or clothing that can be submerged in water.
You must be at least 18 years old. If you are 15 or older, you may do a session accompanied with a parent or guardian.
We take cleanliness very seriously and ensure that each suite is fully cleaned in between sessions with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Additionally, infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria, creating a sterile environment.
As infrared does not affect most electronics, you may opt to bring them into the sauna with you at your own risk. Each studio is equipped with an iPad for music, tv, movies, and more.

Saltwater cryo therapy is beneficial 2-3 times per week or as needed resulting from strenuous exercise or recovery.
